Mission file 10 / Deskbound

Eight hours seated
is a training problem.

LOG DESK / 01STEPS: 9,412MEETING: WALKED

The walking pad people figured something out. You do not beat a sedentary job with three heroic gym hours a week; you beat it by refusing to be still all day, then lifting on top.

Movement accounting

A desk job runs about 60 waking hours a week in a chair. Three gym sessions is four hours. The other 56 are the actual battleground, which is why step counts predict health outcomes annoyingly well. The pad under the desk, calls taken walking, stairs on principle. None of it is training. All of it counts.

The desk worker’s week

Honest shelf talk

This file needs fewer supplements than any other on the site. Protein to target, which for desk workers mostly means fixing lunch, and the calculator for the number. If afternoon coffee is wrecking your sleep and evening training, Greenlight gives late sessions the push without the caffeine bill. Everything else is enthusiasm.

Two sessions. That is the ask.

Hinges, rows and carries against eight hours of chair.
