Mission file 03
The winter arc, provisioned

Twelve quiet weeks while the group chat hibernates. The internet calls it a winter arc. Quartermasters have always called it stocking the cellar before the frost.
Why winter works
No beach deadline, no race photos, nobody watching. That removes the worst coach you have ever had: urgency. What is left is repetition, and repetition is the only thing that has ever built anything.
The 12 week structure
- Weeks 1 to 4: Foundation. The Strength track, plus walks. Set your protein number with the calculator and hit it 6 days out of 7.
- Weeks 5 to 8: Load. Weights go up. Add one aerobic day. Bedtime becomes policy, not a suggestion.
- Weeks 9 to 12: Prove it. Retest everything from week 1. Take photos nobody will see. Spring you will find them.
The winter shelf
| Provision | Winter job |
|---|---|
| Workhorse Whey | Daily protein when it is dark at 5pm and cooking feels optional |
| Payload Creatine | Take it daily all twelve weeks. Consistency is the entire trick. |
| Re-Entry Sleep | Long nights are an unfair advantage. Use them. |
| Even Keel Ashwagandha | For the humans whose winter arc coincides with Q4 at work |
Rules of the arc
- Log every session. A note on your phone beats a perfect app you abandon.
- Miss a day, never miss two. The streak is the program.
- Tell one person. Accountability is cheaper than motivation and lasts longer.
